Ferrahs Abdelbaset’s, DC (’08) introduction to chiropractic traces back to the early 2000s after getting the opportunity to shadow a graduate from Logan University’s Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) program. It was during this experience he discovered his passion for whole health care. After graduating with a bachelor’s degree in biology from Saint Louis University, Dr. Abdelbaset enrolled in Logan’s DC program. “The DC program was great,” Dr. Abdelbaset said. “It was filled with wonderful classmates and a lot of faculty members who were great mentors. Sarah Carter, PhD, joined Logan as an assistant professor in 2014 when she began teaching courses for the university’s online Doctor of Health Professions Education degree, which is now the Doctor of Education in Health Professions Education (Ed.D.) program. She worked closely with Ed.D. program director Laura Rauscher, PhD, LPC, NCC, ACS, CTMH, CCATP to grow the program and the courses she was teaching. First-generation American and college graduate Katrina Marnin, MS, fell in love with higher education while working towards her master’s degree at Russell Sage College in Albany, New York.
